situated along a busy thoroughfare that\u2019s actively being marketed for development by american family insurance, this store represents the first kwik trip site providing gas sales in the city of madison in many years. our team was tasked with creating an environment that met the discerning criteria of both the city and the american family development board.<\/p>\n

because this site is located in a busy business district, the design team needed to not only provide adequate parking but also\u00a0accommodations for substantial foot traffic. to that end, this walkable destination has an outdoor \u201cpicnic\u201d\u00a0area with comfortable, all-weather seating<\/a>. extensive pedestrian walkways allow for multi-<\/a><\/p>\n

modal accommodations and are integrated with the local sidewalk network<\/a>. the strategic use of attractive landscaping helps to mask traffic noise, enhance the site, and provide aesthetic balance<\/a>.<\/p>\n
